Fishing for keepers was slow, a lot of trash fish like sharks, and the wind on Sunday would not quit, and we are so tired of being regulated by the government, because a sea bass at 12. The fishing was very slow this weekend, but we have high hopes on the blackfishing.
10 26 16 The Carolyn Ann lll lost fishing on Saturday and Sunday due to weather, but we did sail Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Now on Wednesday afternoon, the wind finally died out, and we had a charter with the MATES school, and had some real good fishing.
9 21 16 Here it is, the last four days of the fluke season. After the Sept 25 closer of fluke, the CAIII will not be sailing until OCTOBER 22, WHICH IS A SUNDAY, and yes we will be sailing that whole week for sea bass!
The first day we found a few nice fish so we went back the following day and the fluke started biting!Let's get out a few more times before the season closes and try to get back what mother nature took from us last week.
The boat is sailing every day, the two 4-hour trips, except for on July 13th, the afternoon trip ONLY, we will be privately chartered. We have some hot days coming our way and if there is a breeze it's usually a lot cooler on the ocean, mostly the afternoon trip.
