The boat is sailing every day, the two 4-hour trips, except for on July 13th, the afternoon trip ONLY, we will be privately chartered. We have some hot days coming our way and if there is a breeze it's usually a lot cooler on the ocean, mostly the afternoon trip.
6 13 16 It's been two weeks since I reported a fishing report. The first week great, the second week good, the third week picky, and with a few days off due to weather, it seems the wrecks are rejuvenating with new fish.
A few pool winners were Len Smith of Florence, NJ with a nice 4-lb sea bass Bob Nolan (cotton Bob) also took the money with a 3. Joe Schwing won with a 3-lb sea bass, Arty Hoyt of Manahawkin, NJ won with a nice 4-lber, Jim Cryan of Florence, NJ won with a nice 4.
Pool winner was Bob Pianetti of Manahawkin, NJ. I've seen many giants caught, but to see a fisherman passionate about the fish after he lands it, well, say what you want, but to plan the release afterward can be a harder battle than the catch itself, especially when you have to do a weigh-in.
6 27 15 Monday starting out was a bit slow, some sea bass were still to be caught and a 3-lb fluke took the pool by Billy Seidle of South Hampton, NJ. On Friday we had more sea bass but a 3. 8-lb fluke won, caught by Mark Keple of Manahawkin, NJ.
