We're hoping by the middle of this week the weather will improve making for better fishing conditions. Our pool winner yesterday was Glen Commeau from New Falcon, PA with a 21 lb striper.
Due to rough seas, we will not be sailing for stripers this afternoon at 4 00 p. m. and then we will begin sailing for afternoon stripers from 4 00 p. m. - 10 00 p. m. every Friday, Saturday Sunday starting, Friday, May 10th, 2013.
The first half of the day we were picking at stripers amongst the bunkers. We will begin sailing for afternoon stripers from 4 00 p. m. - 10 00 p. m. every Friday, Saturday Sunday starting tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd, 2013.
On some drifts we were able to pick a few stripers and we also caught a couple 2 pound blues. There are still plenty of fish around and hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day.
April 30th, 2013 Captain Lenny headed out North of our inlet today with a handful of people on-board. We had some nice drifts today and read the fish very well from mid bottom to being stacked up under the bottom of the boat.
When I spoke with him at noon today, he already had over a dozen keeper stripers with at least 20 throwbacks, with only a handful of people on-board. We are now sailing DAILY for stripers from 7 30 a. m. - 2 30 p. m.
April 22nd, 2013 Captain Lenny headed out East this past weekend. We will be sailing daily for stripers as of this Friday, April 26th, 2013 from 7 30 a. m. - 2 30 p. m., weather permitting.
