Anchored up on a massive pile of fish and had 8 blues on as soon as we were tight on the anchor. High hook on the night had 29 blues only keeping their legal limit.
We anchored up and it started very slow with a 2-5 pick around the boat and the fish came in shots. Limits were had around the boat and our pool winning blue fish weighed in at 17.

August 16th, 2012 This morning on the Tropical Adventure, we had some good action with several nice fat keeper fluke as well as some sea bass mixed in. Our pool winner was Ed Duff from Avon, NJ with a 5 lb fluke.
Around 11 00 p. m. the fishing died off so we made a slight move and boy did it pay off. We continued to hold 10-15 blues on until it was time to head home.
August 12th, 2012 Today on the Tropical Adventure, fishing started out slow this morning but by the afternoon the winds changed and the fluke were biting. Our morning pool winner was Jerry Kosloski from Belmar, NJ and our afternoon pool winner was Dotty Klein from Toms River, NJ with a 4 lb fluke.
