Read plenty of fish anywhere from 20 down to the bottom. We were able to jig blues from 5 lbs up to 18 lbs and we also jigged a nice 30 striper Looks like plenty of jigging fish around and some striped bass are starting to show up Our pool winner was an 18 lb blue.
It was another fine day of angling on board the Miss Belmar Princess today We continued to catch fish east of our inlet with jumbo blues ranging from 8 16 lbs with some albies mixed in. Anchored up and immediately had fast fishing on jigs with jumbo blues and albacore and started to pick away on bait. Went and looked around, re-anchored and immediately caught more blues and albacore on bait and jigs.
