May 14 2015 5 13 5PM BASS BLUES NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIPS ARE TONIGHT THURS 5 14 AND TOMORROW AT 5PM. ALSO A REMINDER THAT FLUKE SEASON STARTS NEXT FRIDAY MAY 22nd AND WE WILL BE SAILING EVERYDAY 7 DAY A WEEK AT 7 30AM TO 2 30PM.
If you plan on buying a new set up and you plan on coming out for bass, bluefish, fluke and porgies look into getting a spinning rod and reel to make life a lot easier on yourself. They are the best because you can cast them easier, no birds nest and you need to cast away from the boat when we are fishing for the bass and bluefish plus if you want to snag bunker, use a jig or bucktail it is so much better using a spinning rod.
May 9 2015 5 9 AM PM BASS BLUES CHARTERS OPEN BOAT TOMORROW AT 7AM TO 2PM AND AGAIN AT 4PM TO 9PM FOR BASS BLUES. The guys and gals did a great job catching the big blues and also put a couple of nice keeper bass in the boat.
Fishing was slow with a slow pick of blues and a short bass on first 2 drops. So far a very weird spring but the best is yet to come last year our first really good trip was on May 14th and fishing was good after that til middle of June so we have a lot more good fishing ahead.
May 6 2015 5 6 PM Bass Blues OPEN BOAT TOMORROW FRIDAY 5PM TO 10PM FOR BASS BLUES Out tonight with a lite crowd and we headed out to the grounds. Made a move and had very good readings but only was able to catch one other bass and missed a few.
