Capt. Phil Dulanie and Capt. Mark DeCabia headed back down to the southern canyons and had a nice afternoon on the edge with the Rob Durso charter. All the fish in morning were again nice fish in the 40-50 pound class.
We can't wait to get her on top of some big schools of bunker this spring. And as soon as the next big eddy moves within distance we will be there - at 50 knots!!!
The Seminar starts tomorrow sharply at 8am with registration please arrive on time. The Seminar is at the Sheraton HOTEL that is connected to the Convention Center.
They pulled 3 longfin on ballyhoo and jets and then set her down right there where they had the bites. Live squid and sardines accounted for the fish on the chunk.
They picked up and ran right to the Spencer and dropped the hook and hooked up immediately putting a nice 80 yellowfin in the boat before 8am. Unfortunately, not much else happened the rest of the night as the only picked 3 more yellowfin putting a total of 4 in the boat.
They had their first bite at 11pm and by 2pm were done with over 30 fish fought and 17 brought to the boat. A big surprise as all we've been catching there were longfin but hey fish have tails.
