5/18/20: The Carolyn Ann lll was finally allowed to sail on Sunday as the Governor lifted the ban on the party boats. The fishing was good for some, with mostly sea bass, a few cod and ling mixed in. We are looking forward for some good sea bass fishing after this tropical storm Arthur is out of here.

Please note that social distancing is in place even onboard the boat, so we have a limited capacity. Please text 856-313-5493 or call for a reservation. You will need your credit card number to hold your spot. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also we will be following all guidelines for distancing on board. The crew will be disinfecting high-traffic areas and heads. They hopefully will lift this soon and we can continue fishing the way we have done for decades. Thank you.

Posted on May 18, 2020May 18, 2020 Gale warning for tomorrow No sooner did party and charter boats in N. J. get a chance to sail again than the weather is going to shut them out for a couple of days. Phil Fischer said he was trolling bass in Raritan Bay yesterday morning before moving into Sandy Hook Bay where two 30-pounders hit.

Posted on April 23, 2020April 23, 2020 Striper bite continues in Raritan Bay Dave Lilly of Hazlet trolled up stripers in Raritan Bay again today, though it wasn t as easy as it had been. Lilly decided to head east from Keyport and never had a hit all the way to Romer Shoal before running to the back of the bay where about a dozen bass in the 34-35-inch class were trolled in 16-foot depths on Tony Maja 3-ounce mo-jos.
