The Garden State Outdoor Sports Show concludes Sunday at the N.J. Saltwater anglers will be interested in the 2:30 seminar by Donald La Rubo  on rigging plastics for striped bass. The Big Mohawk from Belmar had some good-sized blackfish today, but overall the fishing was sluggish -- which isn't unusual on the full moon in January. That may change by Sunday and Monday when the weather looks good enough for the 7 a.m. sailing.
