Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 3 03 September 2018 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm).
Picked at the fluke, shorts a couple keepers. Picked away on shorts and by days end a couple guys had their 3 fish in the cooler, some had two and some just had good action on the Sea bass and short fluke.
1 30PM-6PM Over the weekend, anglers had plenty of action on the Fluke with a few nice keepers mixed in on each trip. Mondays porgy trip was another success with non stop action and anglers filling their buckets with delicious porgies.
The action was on the slow side where we have been fishing and we had to cover some ground and fish a couple of new areas. We did have a couple of limits and the pool fish was caught by Al Severson from Hillsborough NJ weighing in at 8.
00 off an already discounted senior fare (62 and above) and a child s fare (14 under) Valid only on the Miss Belmar Princess on the morning trips from 7 30 a. m. 2 30 p. m., weekdays only. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar.
Had the family of Cameron with sons Liam and Jameson out for the first time. Started chunking At first spot and had skippies and sharks to get the Crew warmed up, hit the next spot and it was game On had yellowfin chunking with peanuts, jigs and poppers Great way to end the day.
