Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing October 22 22 October 2017 Capt. Tom We finished our half day fishing season making both morning and afternoon trips today. Tomorrow we start our 3 4 day schedule making ONE TRIP EVERDAY leaving at 7 30 and returning between 2 30 and 3pm ( weather permitting).
10 22 2017 Today we had Pete,Huascar,Louis,Trevor,John and Phil out for openig day of seabass. A very busy ocean to say the least!Flat calm conditions allowed us to hit some small snags to put together a limit of seabass and a bunch of porgys, also some nice triggers in the mix.
The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
Pete Connell of Avon fished his favorite sea bass numbers at the Farms on the opening day for that species, but caught only a couple and one porgy before very big dogfish drove him off. The sea bass season is finally open and there seems to be good numbers of larger fish on the wrecks in the 30 mile range.
