Had a better bite today in some horrible conditions. The guys worked hard landing over 50 shorts and 16 keepers to 5# and a nice codfish around 9#.

12-16-17 Nice day for the most part today,windy but not brutaly cold. As for tomorrow it looks really nice with the winds dropping out tonite.

Though N. Y. waters are closed for stripers, blackfish boats spotted birds working today off the Highlands Bridge and at Shrewsbury Rocks. The Capt. Vinny Vetere ended up with a big catch of stripers on Friday before the N. Y. closure.
