We did pick away on some nice Fluke Sea bass with a few guys catching 2 nice Fluke each including Gregg, Jack, Scott, Mike and Bob. We cannot mark every Sea Bass, Porgy, Fluke or anything else we catch and keep them in our bait cooler.
Blue Runner from Manasquan not only took over first with a 67-pound tuna by James Boynton, but also third with a 60-pounder by James Keely. The total catch consisted of three white marlin releases and two tuna for the 12 boats.

JOIN US AS WE BOTTOM FISH AND MAMMAL WATCH AND THEN CATCH THE MOST STUNNING SUNSET THAT WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY.
Despite a marginal forecast, 132 boats attempted to get a jump ahead in the White Marlin Open at Ocean City, Md. without much success as only a few fish were caught. One boater brought in a white marlin which made the legal length, but was short of the minimum weight.
Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 6 06 August 2017 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the afternoon trip we caught less shorts then the morning (but still quite a few) and ended the trip with more keepers then the morning.
