As noted in last night s blog, Jim Louro and I had a few minutes of action with small blues at the start of the incoming in Manasquan River that afternoon from his Vicki Lynn out of Manasquan but didn t find any sign of them upriver. Grumpy s Tackle in Seaside Park reports some blues of assorted sizes being caught on both bait and poppers in Barnegat Bay, but it s just a start.
