Atlantic Highlands porgy fishing October 8 08 October 2017 Capt. Tom The weatherman kept most of the people away but we were able to make both morning and afternoon trips today. The weather for tomorrow looks like some rain showers in the morning but we plan on fishing.

We do not get out every trip mostly due to lack of angler participation even on some of the most beautiful summerlike days in October, it is perplexing.
THURSDAY) This am was opening day in NY for togs and we ran an open boat. We will be fishing in ny till nov 15th and will return to nj for opening day, our schedule is up on the open boat forum as well as our facebook page.
The Queen Mary from Point Pleasant won't be fishing for blues on Monday. The Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands got into blues averaging 4 pounds, but there were a few larger choppers jigged -- including an 11-pounder by by Ryan Von Tassel.
