August 13th, 2017 Fluke Sea Bass Charters On this afternoons trip, we continued to have great fishing with nice jumbo sea bass, along with some nice fluke mixed in, and an occasional ling. Doormat fluke have been scarce this season, but that's what it took to win Saturday's Salt Water Anglers of Bergen County Fluke Tournament. Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 12 12 August 2017 Capt. Tom The weatherman kept most of the people away but we made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the afternoon trip the short action was better then the morning but not as many keepers.

The Jamaica from Brielle had great action today with bonito from 3 to 6 pounds plus blues from 2 to 5 pounds -- and added some Spanish mackerel. The Big Mohawk from Belmar had OK fluking as there were many 3-to-5-pounders and limit catches.
Good Summer Action Friday, August 11, 2017 We had another very productive week with limit catches of Porgies and Seabass for most patrons throw in some nice Fluke and Triggerfish and you have a great catch. This action should hold up for a few more weeks, so come on down while the weather is nice.
Got a few skippies and albies right away and then had a double of the right bites. Boated 2 under bluefin around 38". Continued to pound away at the area all day with a pick of yellowfins to around 60# with plenty of skippies and allies keeping the rods bent.
