    Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 16 16 June 2017 Capt. Tom The weather forecast kept most of the people away but we made both morning and afternoon trips today. We are half day fishing for fluke making two trips everyday (8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm).

Like all South Jersey Tournaments, the Shark Tournament is a Big Fish tournament in that the heaviest fish in any givencategory usually garners the largest purse.

    Once again we waited for 10AM for the weather to settle down a bit but once out the Inlet the boys put a boat limit of nice Seabass on ice in some pretty sporty conditions. Matt got his nice 20 Seabass and everyone had a good time with lots of laughs.

    6-16-17 Check out some of these nice pics from today,we caught some real jumbos,very good fishing with guys limiting out easily on nice sea bass. it was good with loads of life on the drops we hit today.

    Sea bass fishing was excellent with easy limits every trip and lots of nice fish in the mix. Our last trip was Tuesday due to some sloppy weather over the last couple days, and we decided to try for fluke and found them biting pretty good.

    The fishing action for black sea bass on the inshore wrecks and reefs continues to be very good. The offshore bite has started with some nice tuna being boated already including some bigeyes over 200-pounds. In addition, there are reports of some big mako and thresher sharks in the area.

    Not much has changed on the fluke grounds.We are picking away at the shorts with an odd keeper mixed in.

    It was cooler on the water today and we made both morning and afternoon trips. The past few days the morning has been better then the afternoon but today we ended up with the same amount of keeper fluke on both trips.
