    7-18-17 Summer,flat calm and beautiful out there again today,we caught some fish again today,nice drift all day and we picked away. Austin won the pool today,it was a nice fish that earned him almost 400 bucks.

    Doc took the early lead in the daily pool on the first drift with a beauty at 7lbs 6 ounces and a second fish at 4 pounds. Dan, first time fisherman with me, landed his 3 and some nice Sea Bass, Capt. Ron Sr. had three nice keepers and sea bass, Dave B had a couple keepers up to 4 pounds and Sea Bass for dinner.

    Jul 18 2017 7 18 FISHING REPORT NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIPS WEDNESDAY 7 19- FLUKE 7 30am to 2 30pm 5pm to 9pm THURSDAY 7 20- PORGIES SEA BASS 7 30am to 2 30pm SATURDAY 7 22- FLUKE 7 30am to 2 30pm 4pm to 8 30pm SUNDAY 7 23- FLUKE 7 30am to 2 30pm PORGIES SEA BASS 4pm to 8 30pm 7 18 FISHING REPORT- Over the weekend we had excellent porgy fishing on both morning afternoon trips and everyone went home with fish. We saw an improvement in action and had some nice keepers with some keeper sea bass mixed in.

    Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 18 18 July 2017 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the afternoon trip we have a nice drift but only picked at the shorts with only a few keepers.

    I didn't even have the first ray release at Castaways Tackle in Point Pleasant, as Randy, another regular there, had hooked up south of me after seeing rays chasing bait on the surface. Today's trip was good for sea bass, ling and some fluke.

    Couple others had 3 keepers including John Frade who got it done fishing in the bow, along with a bunch of nice Sea Bass around the boat. Tara Son were back for the first trip this season and also had some nice Fluke along with Sea Bass for a nice dinner.

    The guys did manage to pick and pluck away for a mixed bag of Ling and Sea Bass and a few 4 spots. The charter wanted to finish up with some Ling so we went to the deep and picked away at them and added another 40 to the cooler with some jumbo Bergalls, overall a good day with a nice mixed bag.
