July 30th, 2017 Fluke Sea Bass Charters This afternoon, we had very good sea bass fishing again with many limits being caught. OUR AFTERNOON TRIPS SAIL DAILY FOR FLUKE AND SEA BASS FROM 4 30 P. M. 8 30 P. M. JOIN US AS WE BOTTOM FISH AND MAMMAL WATCH AND THEN CATCH THE MOST STUNNING SUNSET THAT WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY.
The charter wanted to try for some Sea Bass now, so we hit some local wrecks and had to fight through a lot of shorts to get our keepers but we did. The Togging was slow for us so we tried a few drifts for some Fluke managed a bunch of shorts with a keeper.
I then tied on a small jig and paddletail that was hit by a mere 14-inch striper close to shore Cox covered quite a bit of ground, and ended up releasing two similar small bass. Zagleski said Friday was also good for fluke along with some big sea bass.

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 28 28 July 2017 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today and the fishing was pretty much the same. Sometimes the weather reports can be wrong so we will be on the dock in the morning to see what its like.
