  • 2015-07-01 Ocean Explorer Belmar

7-1-15 Awesome out there today, storms last nite chased most people away, only a light crowd. Shame cause it was beautiful out there today with sw winds. and sunny skies. .Fishing was good to,had fluke coming right away this morning and it kept up that way almost all day. .Granted alot were 17 inch fish but we picked through and caught keepers as well. Jimmy had 4 nice fish to keep, few had 3 keeps,,some one or two and some might have only had shorts,,maybe half the crowd but alot of action. .and Ralphy had a nice pool fish that went about 6-7lbs. So overall a good day I thought with a great group of people, tomorrow looks awesome again!!!

  • 2015-06-30 ElaineB Highlands

06 30 15 Nice start to the day with a good drift and okay action with a mix of shorts and keepers. Did not stay nice for long as the southerly wind picked up quickly and blew hard for the rest of the day slowing down the bite everywhere.
  • 2015-06-30 Bounty Hunter Point Pleasant Beach

06 30 15 The Justin Shearer charter joined Capt. Paul for a Closing Day Seabass charter. Paul made stops on small pieces to start the day and picked a few on each drop.
  • 2015-06-30 Canyon Runner Point Pleasant

As mentioned below the Canyon Runner Dredge was a big hit with the big-eyes last night. The side of the boat with the white dredge had all 5 bites and they even switched sides once and only trolled one dredge for a while while cleaning up and all bites came on the dredge side with the white dredge. The 48 Viking with Capt. Evan Millias and Kevin Muller had a big-eye of their own and added a few very nice yellowfin and mahi to round out there trip. That's 18 big-eyes for June - 8 more than we ever did before in any year. We are hoping to go back out tomorrow if the winds slack off overnight so hopefully the fish are still there.
