November 12th, 2017 Stripers Blues Charters This morning, we came out of the inlet and there were nothing but hundreds of boats trying to fish for stripers. Both boats ended up with around a couple dozen of fish a piece by the end of the day.
Up and down fishing today with lots of good size Porgy s and decent size Sea Bass coming up. We will start fishing for Blackfish on Thursday so there is only a couple of days left for us for Sea Bass and Porgy s!
The Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands reported marking plenty of bass, but the bite was way off from Saturday when the very cold weather reduced the fleet though it didn't really interfere with fishing for party boat anglers. The Angler from Atlantic Highlands had one drop fishing for porgies on Saturday, along with some tog on crabs and sea bass on both clams and crabs.
Wow was that a nice day offshore, chilly in the morning but beautiful once we got out into the warm water. Fishing was red hot..drop and reel all day..big sea bass and big porgies coming over the rail big blues chewing em up sometimes, had a bonito too.
