Vinny D'Anton of Wall was also in on that short burst of action, and went back late in the afternoon to catch four more before it suddenly turned off again, The same sort of thing has been happening all along the Shore, but there have been no reports of bigger bass in the surf. We have also had some good reports from the offshore rocks just inside the Wilmington Canyon The surf remains about the same -- lots of short bass and a few keepers, spiny dogfish, and an occasional speckled trout
Tomorrow looks like the same windy conditions, We will do our best like we always do. Under the circumstances with a hard NW wind against the tide all day, we were kinda restricted where we could fish.
The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
