Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 17 17 September 2016 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the afternoon trip the drifting conditions were not good and the fishing was terrible.

Big fish and new monthly leader caught Friday by Ho J Kim Ft Lee, NJ which was 9. Catches this week included Ed Nolan Manasquan NJ limit to 6 pounds Pete Talevi Trenton, NJ limit to 6 pounds Young Park Howell NJ limit to 5 pounds Ho J Kim Ft Lee, NJ limit to 9.
Other limits this week were posted by Ed Nolan of Manasquan and Pete Televi from Trenton with fluke up to 6 pounds -- and Young Park of Howell up to 5 pounds. The Ocean Explorer from Belmar reported those jigging had a big advantage today in a slow drift as some 3-to-9-pound fluke were boated.
