Back at it again Tomorrow bottom fishing Porgies, Sea Bass Blackfish. Capt. Rob on the Sea Hunter has been busting his butt, searching everywhere, trying to find some fish without much success the past couple of weeks.
In addition to the bottom fishing for sea bass a Surfcasters got back into business today, though waters were still stained after the weekend storm. Yet, he still caught two short stripers up to 24 inches on a Tsunami Sand Eel plus a small fluke -- and saw another angler release a 30-inch bass on a bucktail.

Oct 30 2017 10 28 FISHING REPORT NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIPS THIS WEEK BOTTOM FISHING- Thursday, Friday, Saturday Sunday at 7 30am to 2 30pm EVENING STRIPERS- Friday Saturday at 5 30pm to 10 30pm 10 28 Fishing Report- Hey everyone bottom fishing has been very good with Sea Bass, Porgies, Blackfish Triggerfish. Striper fishing has been slow with water temps still being to warm but they are starting to catch some fish trolling so some fish are here and should start biting.
The opening of Seabass had good action, just disappointed with the amount of keepers, but the Porgies have grown in size. We had good catches of 20 to 40 fish a person of a mix of Seabass and Porgies with some nice sized Flounder and a few Blackfish to round out the catches.
