Started the day where we have been fishing and had a few fish before the current slowed down. Once it did the guys started to bang away at mixed size fish which continued for the rest of the day.
Though 242 boats fished Thursday in the White Marlin Open, I could only find one change in the Leaderboard -- and a minor one at that. Every boat with one of their three days left will be trying to take over one of the big money spots available on the last two days -- especially the open second and third in both white and blue marlin.
Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 10 10 August 2016 Capt. Tom The weatherman kept most of the people away (again) today but we made both morning and afternoon trips. On the morning trip (not a drop of rain) We picked at the shorts but only had a few keepers.

5-pound bigeye boated on Rich Kosztu's Hubris took over first in tuna from Magic Moment and a potential 400,000. There was also a change in dolphin as Sea Wolf brought in a 36-pounder to pull ahead of the 34.
