    On the morning trip yesterday we fished the Reach channel and picked at a mix of shorts and keepers with good drifting conditions. On the morning trip today the drifting conditions allowed us to go back to the Reach channel and we another nice morning with a good number of keepers mixed in with the shorts.

    June 26, 2016 6-26-16 It was another nice day on the water , fishing could have been better today, you had to pick -pick through the short fluke to get to the keepers. some of the group had 4 keepers, we moved around and fished at different depths The gulps were active with the fluke.

    John Froelich had his limit fishing in the Stern, Steve (ALS MAKO) put on a clinic for the Boys fishing in the bow landing 6 nice keepers on Peanut Bunkers. Adam and Skinder fishing in the stern took control back their with 4 nice keepers each, just missing the limit.

    The Flounder are up to 3-4 lbs regularly, while the pool winning Flounder have been 10-15lbs. We are catching more and more Flounder, so come on down to get your fill!

    Dennis Coleman, Short Hills, NJ, had several keepers up to 7 pounds 8 ounces. Dennis O'Brien, South Bound Brook, had a 10 pound 5 ounce beauty which is his second doormat of the season already!

    We did see a little improvment in Fluke fishing over the weekend. The morning trips have been a little better than the afternoon trips with some decent size Fluke coming over the rail.

    6-26-16 We had decent life on the fluke grounds today,fair amount of shorts spread out each drift and inbetween some guys were catching keepers. Couple of guys had three keepers each including the split pool winners.

    Veteran fluke angler Dennis O'Brien of South Bound Brook watched his daughter Danielle hook the boat's largest fluke of the season just a couple of minutes into the first drift with a 13. Danielle's fluke was the first doormat by a female on Elaine B. II, and just barely behind the second largest ever on that boat which is her father's at just one ounce more.
