Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing October 31 31 October 2016 Capt. Tom It was a bit windy this morning but we made our 3 4 day trip for seabass, porgies and blackfish. There was also a lot of small seabass with some keepers mixed in along with a few blackfish.
We caught some sea bass again today,a little tough with the wave action early on but some nice quality fish came up again,along with some porgies and some really big ling. Good news is tomorrow and next few days look really nice and we area heading back offshore after the big sea bass.

Leif Pettersen used his fly rod to release three stripers up to 31 inches at Deal on Saturday evening, but only hooked two 17-to-18-inch bass Sunday morning. Dave Lilly of Hazlet got out Sunday afternoon to troll stretch plugs in the back of Raritan Bay for non-stop action that produced nine bass up to 26 pounds in two hours before the storm forced him in.
