07 13 16 We have not been impressed with the fishing in the channel the past couple of days so we checked out some different areas today. The fish turned on well the last couple hours of the day in an area we fished two days ago and we ended up with a catch of fish for the guys.
We have only had a couple of slower trips due to no drift. Thanks Capt. Mike NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIPS THIS WEEK Evening Trips- Wed, Thurs Fri at 5pm to 9pm also Sunday at 4pm to 8 30pm Day Trips- Friday 7 15 Saturday 7 16 at 7 30am to 2 30pmShare Capt. Mike

Capt. Ron Santee of the Fishermen from Atlantic Highlands said it took a long time for the current to get started today, and noted that bait in the channel is moving out -- Time to start looking for new areas. Capt. Stan Zagleski did fish areas away from the Reach today, and did well with his Elaine B. II from Bahrs in Highlands.
With the weather conditions took a different heading to avoid a beating, got to the spot And found some good friends, with the early bird doing the most damage,Nice job D!Worked it over and finally got our over with young Nate doing a great job on the rod landing his first tuna with it being 51 inches.
