Open Boat TUNA LING Previous ling report Details Created on Monday, 31 July 2017 19 57 Written by Capt. Ron We have 4 spots Saturday 8 5 for fluke and 4 spots Sunday 8 6 for TUNA. Wound up with a keeper blackfish, a few whiting, a very large 4 spot(biggest I've ever seen) and 135 ling.
Capt. Rob Semkewyc wishes he northeaster had held off another day because he had the best half-day trip of the season with the Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands as six fluke limits were caught and everyone had at least one keeper Friday morning. The guys banged away at the keepers and shorts in a couple of areas and ended the day with catches ranging up to limits along with decent short action.
