Atlantic Highlands fishing May 16 16 May 2016 Capt. Tom It was another day with pretty strong winds but we were able to make both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the morning trip the fishing was not as good as yesterday but we still picked at the bluefish.

I thought the river fishing for big blues might be over, but after doing nothing the last two mornings in the Bradley Beach surf, I tried upriver in Manasquan River late in the afternoon and saw a few choppers taken in brief flurries despite a howling west wind. At Seaside Park, the bite of big blues in the surf that made Sunday's Governor's Surf Fishing Tournament such a success continues.
The Hooked Up II had preventive maintenance on both engines this spring performed by a certified Caterpillar factory mechanic to assure the reliability anglers expect when they fish with us. We also had a complete marine survey done on our engines and hull by a certified marine surveyor and the Hooked Up II passed all the safety requirements with flying colors.
Atlantic Highlands fishing May 15 15 May 2016 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips today and again it was all blue fish. On the morning (8am) trip it was a bit windy but everyone had all they wanted early and had fun doing catch and release for the rest of the trip.
