August 24, 2016 8-24-16 Today we had some decent action around the rail with both keepers and short fluke keeping you busy, and also quality sea bass to put in your cooler. Some had 3-4 keepers others had 1-2 to put in their coolers, some had short fluke only.
With fine offshore weather, 88 of the 157 boats entered fished on Tuesday. New Jersey boats were represented on the leaderboard as Brian Crudeli's Reel Addiction from Pemberton took second in white marlin at 65 pounds Adam Youschak's Reelin Feelin had a 76-pound yellowfin for third in tuna and Stan Hitchner's Pez Machine from Banegat Light could be one of the big winners with its first place 230-pound bigeye tuna that's currently worth 419,503.

Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 22 22 August 2016 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We were able to catch a few more keepers on the afternoon trip but it was not good.
