    The Jersey Coast Shark Anglers Mako Fever Tournament that was postponed the previous weekend ended up with another good weather weekend as the BNR Fishing Team won with a 266-pound mako that edged a 250-pounder by Blue Goose. Mark IV was third at 188 pounds, followed by Knot Know It at 176 pounds. The largest thresher shark was a 152-pounder by Miss Tess.

    Jun 27 2016 Sunday Monday Fluke Report - Good Fluking continues NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIPS DAY TRIPS- Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat Sun at 7 30am to 2 30pm EVENING TRIPS- Wed Thurs at 5pm to 9pm Special Friday Fishing Fireworks Trip at 5pm til fireworks are over Sat Sun at 4pm to 8 30pm Sunday Monday Good Fluking- Hey everyone on Sunday we had our friends out from New York Sanitation and the guys had a great day. They had very good fluking with fish being caught all around the boat up to 7lbs.

    A very good morning with lots of action plenty of shorts and keepers and some very nice big fish. We are able to fish elsewhere and get the short action but there have only been from one to three keepers per drift mixed in with the shorts.

    It ended up being s good day concidering the conditions. A few guys got their limit and there were some good size fish mixed in, with the biggest fish tipping the scales around 8 lbs.

    On the morning trip yesterday we fished the Reach channel and picked at a mix of shorts and keepers with good drifting conditions. On the morning trip today the drifting conditions allowed us to go back to the Reach channel and we another nice morning with a good number of keepers mixed in with the shorts.

    June 26, 2016 6-26-16 It was another nice day on the water , fishing could have been better today, you had to pick -pick through the short fluke to get to the keepers. some of the group had 4 keepers, we moved around and fished at different depths The gulps were active with the fluke.
