Steady pick of fluke in the back for the Lane charter today, but they had to wade through a bunch of shorts to get a few in the box. Looks like there's still a few around, so we'll keep at it for another week or so.
A MIXED CATCH Monday, July 13, 2015 We are doing pretty good with the Ling and a nice mess of Sea Bass, Cod, Flounder, and Fluke also in the mix. Catches of 15 to 30 fish are common, some are catches their limits of Sea Bass and Flounder, which is limited to 2 of each.
We ran quite a ways to the north where we caught the Bluefins yesterday with the intent to get away from the boat traffic and we did end up with just a couple of boats around us. One of my mates came in from yesterday s trip and headed back out on a private boat to help teach them how to catch Big Eyes and I think they will have a great chance at catching at least one with far less boat traffic tonight compared to the weekend.

So Captain Tony headed offshore Saturday and Sunday and pounded on the ling. We have also been catching many Seabass that have been released, and we are looking good for the Seabass opener this Wednesday, July 15 at 7 AM!
