Made both morning and afternoon trips today. We fished in Sandy Hook Bay and found the action to be a bit better. It was not good but better. We caught more shorts and ended up with a few more keepers (fluke) on both trips.
This morning, we continued to fish well north of shark river inlet. We picked some 2-4 lb bluefish tight on the beach and had a shot of some 5-10 pounders later on in the day. It was a slow day but each day it is still continuing to improve.
Now that sea bass season is open we will be fishing down the beach when the ocean conditions are nice so we can add those to our catch. Tomorrow's weather looks great so come on down.
This afternoon, it was horrible fishing with terrible weather conditions. We were in early and only caught a few keeper sea bass.
