November 28, 2016 11-28-16 Hey guys, tough conditions made for tough fishing today. Tomorrow's weather looks like hell so we'll see you Wednesday if it gets better.
The past several days have certainly not been up to par with the Bass fishing for us. Right now it's not looking good, so, Thank you all for fishing with me this season.
Tried something a bit deeper in an area we have not fished this season yet and found more shorts than keepers. Everyone went home with fish today and Red Zisa, Totowa, NJ, took the pool with one of his keepers.
Start some fish and think we could build on it but it never continued for us,few guys managed 3 keepers, some two or one but some got the skunk or just shorts. So slow day overall but a really nice day to be out.
Striped bass fishing was very good to the south today, but just a poor to the north. Striped bass fishing was good to the south today, but terrible off the northern Shore.
I did lots of looking around and there were plenty of small patches of birds with fish swirling on top but we had a hard time catching them. I could see the fish swirling and even read them on the fish finder at times.
Happy Holidays, Captain Alan Shinn Crew The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
Got on the bunker schools earlyAnd had a nice bite on fish from 20-25lbs. Ended the days casting shads Landing another half dozen fish before calling it a day.
11 27 2016 The Ed Warters charter sailed with Capt. Paul today. When the bite ended Paul went up on the Troll pulling MoJos and 4 more Unders gave us a boat limit for the day plus a couple of big bluefish.
