In addition to the Spanish mackerel, there were cobia caught even in the surf from South Jersey and Kevin Kuriawa sent a report about a 38-inch cobia caught by Rich Bizarri on Rick Paglucco s 25 Cobia boat while fluking Sunday off Sea Bright. The 11-year-old caught his first fish (school stripers and fluke) yesterday with Chuck Many on his Ty Man at Highlands, and this morning he got a taste of surf casting.
(Sat) Today we ran our open boat ling marathon and the fishing was excellent. Next ling ,sea bass flounder marathon is Friday 7 5 and 7 7One spot open 7 6 fluke(Sunday THis A. M was our open boat Fluke trip and the fishing was very good but the keeping part was another story.
The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for blues, stripers and sea bass from 7 30 a. m. 2 30 p. m. and every afternoon for fluke sea bass from 4 30 p. m. 8 30 p. m. The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing daily for fluke and sea bass from 7 30 a. m. 12 00 p. m.
Sunday 6 30 19 June Fluke fishing went out the same as it started SLOW!Fairlawn Fire Engine 3 was aboard for their 3rd Annual Charter, I was a much nicer day weather wise than Sat (wasn't as hot) I wish I could say the fishing was much better but it wasn't.
Tuesday Fishing Report July 2, 2019 Another banner day weather wise again A beautiful west wind gave us a great drift all day Fishing was decent to start,loads of shorts and some keepers coming up It seemed to slow a bit mid day but we continued to pick at fish In the end alot just had shorts but a few had a limit of nice fluke . nice pool fish again about 4lbs tomorrow looks nice again!!
Beautiful day on the water with all the right conditions to catch fish. It's July guys, I should be able to catch fish in a dozen different area's right now and all those Hot spots are kicking me in the Butt!
