Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing October 29 29 October 2016 Capt. Tom After a couple days of not fishing we made our 3 4 bottom fishing trip today. We are bottom fishing everyday leaving at 7 30 and returning between 2 30 and 3pm.
10 29 16 Long time Bounty Hunter supporter Keith Frederick was on board today. Rounding out Keith's crew were Rick, Jefferey, Krystof Keith T. Paul fished a little deeper today and had no problem finding the life.

Weigh-ins at Castaways Tackle in Point Pleasant included a 22 1 2-pounder plugged by Bob Seadome of Jamesburg a 16 3 4-pounder on metal for John Riden of Brick a 15-pounder plugged by Mark Belucco of Tuckerton an 11 1 2-pounder on metal by John Longo of Brick and a 10 3 4-pounder on metal by Paul Thacker of Point Pleasant on metal. At Seaside Park, Betty Nick's reported Tom Egolf fished north of Island Beach State Park Friday night to catch stripers up to 30 inches, but after breakfast he got into six bass up to 45 inches on pencil poppers when bass drove big bunkers inshore.
Some nice keepers and some slots we had to throw back the slots today as the fish were in NY waters and the NJ bonus tag is not valid in NY waters. The fish were not easy to catch with all the boats running threw them but we did what we could do.
We had a small crowd of 18 today and it is very windy, but we are catching stripers and blues, some small, some jumbo!We ended the day with a couple dozen stripers, three of which were over 25 lbs and one was about 30 lbs, along with some blues both small and jumbo!
