The guys worked hard and managed to put some nice fish in their coolers by the end of the day. Weather is GOOD for tomorrow and MIGHT be the last day to fish for the next several so take advantage of it.
9-18-15 Nice day again, set off looking for a drift,no wind again. We found some current and started catching some fish, not good but we picked and while no big numbers we had some guys with 2-3 keepers each, some with one and of course some guys did not get any. No big fish again today,Sammy is still safe, until tomorrow anyway.
There have been a lot of nice fish still around the last few days and we expect that to be the case until the fluke season closes on Saturday, September 26. Jim Anderson, Lake Hopatcong, NJ, had four nice keepers and just missed the pool with a 6 pound 1 ounce fish of his own.
It was a VERY GOOD day for catching BLUES both small and the MONSTER fish. We started out in the morning catching lots of the 1 - 2 lb. BLUES and later we caught a bunch of the JURASSIC PARK BLUES that were 18 lbs.
