    We will resume our normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, May 16th, at 7 30 a. m. for blues and stripers.   Today, we didn’t sail due to Coast Guard Inspection.

    Hopefully by Tuesday the wind will diminish and we can get back on schedule fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone when the weather improves.

    Big Ling Fillng the Buckets on the 7am Trips !  Nice Big Ling are coming up steadily on the morning trips, and fishing seems to get better everyday.

    There were quite a lot of skates torturing anglers there earlier in the week, but it sounds like they thinned out a lot on the weekend and let the guys catch a few. We weighed in some good sized bass coming from the surf in North Cape May and Cape May Point.

    Our first week of Striper fishing started off tough in the beginning but by mid week it broke wide open with trophy size Striped Bass!  We are back for the 2017 season and have some availability for spring Striped Bass fishing off Sandy Hook, NJ.

    We had the same fishing as the rest of the fleet this past week with plenty of jumbo bluefish each day along with striped bass mixed in to spice the catch. We will continue to fish daily, when the weather allows, until the start of the fluke season.

    The following is a reef update from the DEP NEW JERSEY, DELAWARE TEAM UP TO DEPLOY FAMED ZUNI TAMAROA AS PART OF ARTIFICIAL REEF SITE COMPRISED OF FORMER MILITARY SHIPS205-FOOT VESSEL OF PERFECT STORM RENOWN SUNK SOUTHEAST OF CAPE MAY TRENTON - A 205-foot vessel immortalized for its service as a Coast Guard cutter that conducted daring rescues during a brutal 1991 East Coast storm was deployed this week off Cape May to become part of an artificial reef comprised of old military ships that is enhancing fishing opportunities off New Jersey and Delaware. The sinking of the U. S. Coast Guard Cutter Tamaroa, formerly the Navy fleet tug Zuni, at the Del-Jersey-Land Inshore Reef, located 26 nautical miles southeast of Cape May, was carried out by Coleen Marine Inc., a contractor for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), in partnership with the Department of Environmental Protection.
