Got a late start but got to the grounds and started to pic away . Decent short action and some keepers on each drift . Nothing great but the guys had an awesome time . July 9 Tough day on the fluke grounds for today's group . Had some first timers and put out the old bait dragging . The guys gave it hell with tons of shorts n just a few keepers . Bucktails was the bait today for the keepers July 11 we had Sam's charter out for fluke , it was better than yesterday .
July 9th, 2015 This afternoon, we had plenty of action with the fluke, along with some nice keepers, and we were able to catch some sea bass. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
FINALLY - the boys didn't have to run all the way down to the Wilmington two trips in a row now. Capt. Phil's 5 8 on big-eye trip was up the line a little bite from the Wilmington Tuesday (finally got the pictures up here below) and the 48 Viking is coming back right now from the notches slightly closer to home with a mess of longfin and stories of big-eyes loved then lost. I think they are sitting on an even dozen longfin.
July 8th, 2015 This afternoon, we caught a few throwback fluke and some throw back sea bass. Join us on our FAMILY FUN DAY of fishing Sunday through Friday afternoon from 4 30 p. m. - 8 30 p. m.
