Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 9 09 December 2015 Capt. Tom Made our 3 4 day blackfishing trip leaving at 7 30 am from the Atlantic Highlands marina again today. It was another nice day for December even with no sunshine.
Both the Sea Hunter and the Fishermen had a mixture of short, bonus and keeper bass today along with big blues. At Seaside Park, Betty Nick's reported an unusual amount of blues up to 15 pounds in the park along with small bass.
Started off not being able to stay on the pieces with garbage anchoring conditions but still managed some keepers. Once the conditions improved and we were able to stay in one place the fish put their biting shoes on and quite a few of our regular toggers wound up with limits of quality togs for the day.
With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. Purchase 5 gift certificates for 250. 00 and get 1 free for a total savings of 110. 00 towards any of our fishing trips.
(FRIDAY) This A. M we ran a open boat Tog trip and had a nice pick of fish right away. (MONDAY) This A. M we ran our open boat Tog trip and the fishing was excellent today for some on the boat and not so great for others.
