06 10 15 Capt. Paul ran an Open Boat Seabass trip today. Paul made several moves and the fish count improved with each move. By 12 30PM we had our legal limit of 90 Seabass plus 5 Ling on ice and we called it a day.
In addition to me and my Canyon Runner Team donating the 60 Ritchie Howell for the day Chris Wood from Woody s in Sea Bright is donating the food and Wine Academy Superstores will be donating all the drinks. Please consider joining the tournament if your boat is ready to go. The 60 Canyon Runner left the dock at 11am today so they ll hopefully join the action soon. By the way, nine days at the dock gave Capt. Deane, Capt. Kevin and the rest of the crew plenty of time to rig up all our Canyon Runner tackle we sell on line at www. canyonrunner. com so instead of filling up our stocks I m going to run another 20 off sale to get them out the door quick.
June 10th, 2015 After a week of bad weather and fishing, we had a good day catching blues up to 14 pounds north of our inlet today. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
Fluke fishing this morning was slow, the group agreed that we go fishing for sea bass in the afternoon, this gave them more action with some nice fish coming aboard. See you in the morning we leave at 7 30 am.
