Wednesdays Striped Bass fishing report It's that time of year once again. Several area's of Bird life this morning working on loads of bait with bass rolling all through it.
Catches ranged to limits with just about everyone having at least four or five keepers each. We WILL NOT BE SAILING Thanksgiving Day and hope that everyone has a nice and enjoyable holiday!!
Don t forget, we are sailing tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, from 7 00 a. m. 1 00 p. m. and at 7 00 a. m. 2 30 p. m. 3 00 p. m. every day thereafter for stripers and blues. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
The Queen Mary from Point Pleasant made their last Striper Marathon trip which produced lots of slot bass plus almost one keeper per man along with a few blues. Grumpy's Tackle in Seaside Park weighed-in lots of stripers and blues again though the surf bite wasn't epic as was the case Monday morning.
Captain Jimmy Zavacky had a good day last Saturday on the Reel Determined when he caught 5 bass up to 41-inches along with a few very big bluefish.
