Monday's porgy and sea bass trip was back on target as the good group of anglers who ventured out in the rain were rewarded with plenty of fish, mostly porgies, a few triggers and some nice sea bass.
Sailing daily for stripers blues from 7 30 a. m. 2 30 p. m. and every afternoon for fluke sea bass from 4 30 p. m. 8 30 p. m. Wednesday Fishing Report August 15, 2018 West wind today,flat calm and beautiful Fishing was red hot to,we caught fish non stop all day long. Keepers flukes up to 8lbs and loads of fish that were just short.
2, my son Ron Jr. had one at 5 pounds, Big Tom had one at 4 plus including his 3 plus some nice Sea Bass. Good action on the Sea bass short fluke with several guys landing two nice keeper Fluke including Jake, Dave and Bill.
We did catch a couple small blues on the beach today and then we ran offshore on the edge of the mud hole and had excellent mackerel fishing with some ling and sea bass mixed in.
