Rob Semkewyc reported another tough day of striper fishing before getting into surfacing fish that produced over 100 6-to-10-pound blues -- but not a single bass on his Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands.

    The last half of the day was a couple notches better than the first half as we found fish on top in a nice big area, but it was still outstanding fishing all around the boat all day. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.

    Seabass fishing was a little slower for us than yesterday but there were practically no throwbacks with almost all of the fish being keepers. Teddy from South River, NJ, took the pool with a big seabass.
