Today, 11 16, was our first REAL trip with the new boat and we did a half-morning trip with Larry, Fred, BIll and Ryan. Ryan got our first bass on the new boat, a 24 that inhaled a whole bunker, and Fred got a nice 19 er and Bill got one around 17 .

Tady jigs worked fine as that boat fished to the east, but only blues and short bass cooperated -- with just a couple of keeper bass on the boat. He noted that unless we get a run of sand eels and a shot of migrating bass from the north this could be the worst fall fishery in memory.
