THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4 UPDATE WE WILL NOT BE SAILING IN DECEMBER TIME FOR BOAT MAINTENANCE The Striped Bass won!!!There are just so many trips you can make and still remain positive when you can't put a single keeper in the boat.
12-4-14 We had a good day weather wise, very nice and calm out there,Fishing was good for some,High had almost a double limit,we had some with 6-8 keepers, but I also had a lot of guys who got skunked,Yes it is normal for some to get skunked, especially blackfishing but its not something I like to see,I also had a spread of guys with 1,2,or 3. Good portion of the fish today were nice, quality in the 4-7lb.
December 4, 2014 Thursday report Nice day on the water. Today was a slower day of fishing, we moved around to different depths of water, some drops we active and others drops we empty, we fished in depths from 29 ft. to 78 ft. of water.
Capt. Rob Semkewyc reported good news about striper jigging yesterday as he got into lots of life with his Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands, and many bass were jigged before everything went dead about 11 30. The Jamaica II reported a sluggish trip last Friday with only ling on deep wrecks, but Saturday's 24-hour trip was excellent with big sea bass and porgies plus a few cod and pollock.
