Atlantic Highlands stripe bass fishing May 7 07 May 2015 Capt. Tom We have been out everyday making both morning and afternoon trips. On most of these trips we have been able to catch a mix of keeper and short stripe bass and a few blue fish.
5 7 Striped Bass Report Thursday, 07 May 2015 18 27 Written by Capt. Jack Hey Gang,It was a beautiful day on the water however the bass bite was slow. There were only a couple of keepers landed with a boat load of blues. Sailing every day 730-230PM.
Yes, Live lining produces bigger fish, the only boats doing that are the one's with 2 to 6 customers, even at that, how many 43 inch fish are being caught Customers had a good time with the action and many fish went home.
Overall, it was a slow day. Treat your Mom this Mother's Day to a day of fishing this Sunday, May 10th. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it.
MAY 6, 2015 SAILING 7 30 AM-1 PM EVERY DAY NOT TOO MUCH TIME, NOT TOO LITTLE TIME, JUST THE RIGHT TIME!!Left the harbor today, second guessing my decision, with a handful of anglers, as I couldn't disappoint Barry and the PA crew. Once on the grounds I knew I had made the right choice, as the bite was on, with Barry bringing in the 1st keeper weighing in at 16 pounds and before the day was done the PA boys put 3 nice bass in the boat, 20, 17 and 16 lbs. With such a few anglers, Jeremy got to wet his line and managed a keeper for the dinner table. I had a couple on myself and much to my surprise one actually ran my line. I am glad I went out as it was like a day off for me and good fun for all aboard.
