Today we ran an open boat Tog trip and the fishing started off excellent with Tog flying over the rail. We made another drop and picked a few more keepers and shorts but it did not last long, made a few more drops but the fishing was slow for the rest of the day.
December 14, 2014 Sunday report Today was a little different day of fishing, the morning started out a little slow, most of the bite this morning was from mid ship to the bow, that group had 1-4 keeper togs. We moved around to different depths, the afternoon bite and action was from mid ship to the stern with some of the group had their limits.
Capt. Howard Bogan reports Saturday's fishing for sea bass and porgies on his Jamaica from Brielle remained very good. Capt. Russ Binns ran his Mar-Lin from Toms River north to Elberon today and reported a dead sea with no bird life or bait readings.
12-13-14 Wow did we have some wind today,made it a little tough to feel the bite,Not that it was a good bite,you really had to work at it again today to get some fish. He had two keepers,most fish were caught on white leggers again today.
Today we ran an open boat Tog trip and the fishing was good on the first drop with quality units coming over the rails. Pete was high hook today with 12 nice keepers (orl) and his buddy mike took the pool.
