There were also lots of blues for surfcasters at Seaside Park and Island Beach State Park -- though those are small blues that hit consistently on mullet while also taking metal and poppers at times. Instead, I tried Sea Girt after high tide in the afternoon, and did nothing with metal into fishable surf -- though another angler released a 25-inch bass.
  • 2014-10-03 Gambler Point Pleasant

The Gambler was offshore with the NJfishing. The seas were forecast 5 to 9 feet, which is not-nice weather but fishable for a boat like the Gambler.
  • 2014-10-03 Seahawk Sandy Hook

Sunday's weather looks a lot nicer so we will be going on both trips then. See everyone then.
  • 2014-10-03 Big Mohawk Belmar

WE ARE BACK IN THE WATER AND WE DEFINATELYPLAN TO FISH THIS WEEKEND. LAST SUNDAY WHEN WE WERE OUT, WE HAD SOME NICE PORGIES, BLACKS AND TRIGGERS.
  • 2014-10-02 Golden Eagle Belmar

After a couple of days tied to the dock due to the weather it looks like we will be able to go fishing again. When we left the BIG BLUES ALBIE's on Tuesday the fishing was very good and I would expect it to continue.
