8 25 Fluke Report Monday, 25 August 2014 16 28 Written by Capt. Jack Hey Gang,Capt. Howie reported an excellent day on the fluke grounds. We had a light crowd and everyone onboard went home with keeper fluke.
08 25 14 Had some short and keeper action early this morning with the change of tide in one of the channels. Tony Salomone, Woodbridge, NJ, led the way with four keepers to go along with plenty of short action.
Beginning on the 28th our schedule will be as followed Wednesday Porgies Friday- Striped bass Bluefish Saturday Porgies Sunday Porgies Weekend Update We had 5 days of east wind which simply shut down the fishing. Gulp Swimming Mullet Chartreuse White New Penny- Pumpkin Nuke Chicken-Gulp Grubs - Nuclear Chicken 10 New Penny- Chartreuse-Gulp Shrimp New Penny- White Mantis Bait Spearing Mummichugs- - Bluefish Strips First Drift Little bit of west wind, but no current at all.
Hey guys this past week we have been doing Maintenance to get ready for the Manasquan Marlin Tuna club tourney. Running The Canyon Runner, Mini Mamba bars in purple black Have been the ticket, bar closely resembles sandeels the tuna have been on, nice size Mahi are around as well and eating the bars!

Ephram, NJ., Vince Povio III of CMCH, NJ.,Don Fagan of Villas, NJ., Biff Pein of East Brunswick, NJ.,Tim Mattis of Hatfield, PA., Mickey Gray of Bensalem, PA., andThieu Nguyen of Darby, PA., all took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. The SEA STAR III was back out in the Ocean this week and found some Fluke that were just AWESOME!
