    This week's Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) meeting of the Summer Flounder, Scup Black Sea Bass Management Board in Alexandria, Virginia produced unanimous approval of New Jersey as its own region with the option to utilize a 17-inch fluke minimum in Delaware Bay and for shore fishing at Island Beach State Park while the rest of the state maintains the same regulations as New York and Connecticut. New Jersey was forced last year into a region with those states after New York objected to having higher minimum sizes for fluke while often fishing in the same waters as New Jersey boaters.

    2-2-16 Wow,,was that a nice day. fish were chewing to,Good life on the bottom and we had decent bites all day,,We slowly just picked away at some nice fish,I think Sal had the pool fish,,He a 10lb,fish,and three others in the 5-7 lb. range. others had a limit as well,,some 1,2,or 3 and some just had shorts but overall we had a good day,,Check out a few pics,,,tomorrow we are not fishing. high winds rough seas so stay home,,Thursday looks like the next nice day. .

    Huge eels and dogfish were a problem due to the churned up water. Picked a few Cod and Ling Hector Costa Perth Amboy won one pool with a 14 pound Cod and Steven Crane Hazlet, NJ won the other with a 12 pound Cod. Some recent pictures on Facebook page Capt Ryan

    High hook did have there limit, a few 1s, 2s and 3s around the boat, and some just had short action or no luck at all. Thursday does not sound bad but we have some work to do on the boat and we figured that we would let it settle down a day!

    That didn't bother the congers and dogfish, but a few cod and ling were also boated. Adam La Rosa said last Saturday's Canyon Runner Seminar in Atlantic City was a big success.
