July 2nd, 2015 This afternoon, we picked away at sea bass on most drifts, keepers and throwbacks, a handful of jumbo ling, a few fluke, about 4-5 silver eels and landed a 5 lb fluke! We will go out for fluke, sea bass, blues, whatever's biting and you can enjoy a sunset cruise on the way home.
Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 2 02 July 2015 Capt. Tom We have been making both morning and afternoon trips the past few days. We are sailing everyday making two trips ( including July 4th) leaving at 8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm.
Don't forget about our Saturday night special this week for fluke and porgies 3 30-9 00 and we are definitely sailing cause I have 18 people coming for sure. Also don't forget our Sunday night Wreck Special sailing every week 3 30-9 00 with Capt. Jimmy Rivelli.
We do see some shorts along with a keeper here and there coming up as well as a few Sea Bass but it is not like the fishing we had last week. I spoke to Capt. Kevin this morning and he said that there was plenty of action on the shorts a with a couple of keepers in the mix so maybe this is a start for them to get back on the chew!
